Ready for the new school year (I think)

This summer was an emotionally and physically tiring one for me.  I was approached by our director of facilities and offered some financial support for new furniture to spruce up some library spaces that were already being used.  The process involved weeding over 4,000 books, removing book cases, and making decisions about how we could use library space differently.  Below are pictures of the new spaces.  When we were finished, I had new furniture for the Collaboration Zone as well as panels to create a new “quiet” room and some flexible furniture for the main floor of the library.  School starts in 2 days and I finally feel like we are ready for our kids.   Can’t wait for Wednesday!!!
